As the first two years of TRITON races, and the first finals come to an end, we’ve revisited the awards and trophies global policy.
TRITON’s 3 distances race format, at every race, poses a challenge to award trophies, to all, overall and age-group athletes.
Our vision from day one was always to first offer more options in terms of competitions and distances rather than offer more trophies.
However, we must listen to athletes, after all, we do this for them. And at the same time we also want to recognise their merit and achievement, they’ve earned it!
As a result, starting in 2026, TRITON will award, at every race, trophies to the following categories:
Top 3 overall, for the 3 distances, SPRINT, MIDDLE and LONG, for both Women and Men.
Trophies to the top 3 Women and top 3 Men for each age-group, of each distance, SPRINT, MIDDLE and LONG, and, top 3 in the corporate relay division.
In total, TRITON will award, at every race, 201 trophies!
